For centuries, S.Pellegrino® Sparkling Natural Mineral Water and Acqua Panna® Natural Spring Water have complemented fine food, wine and dining experiences. This passion for excellence has led on going-support of the culinary community via partnerships with The James Beard Foundation, Restaurant Magazine’s World’s 50 Best, Gelinaz, Le Fooding and many other supporters of the arts. This enduring passion inspired the creation of the Almost Famous Chef Competition in 2002 which continues today.

The 2015 S.Pellegrino® Almost Famous Chef® Competition hosts over 40 of the leading culinary schools across the U.S. in a spirited cooking competition that spotlights the best and brightest. Designed as a mentorship program, culinary students will compete before the food media, distinguished guests and renowned chefs at regional competitions in January and February. The regional winners move on to the final competition in March in Napa Valley, California, where they will compete for the coveted S.Pellegrino® Almost Famous Chef title and a one-year paid apprenticeship with a celebrity chef from our panel.
